Teak Porch Swings

Teak is a large tropical hardwood that is very light but durable and strong. It is usually best untreated due to the natural oils in the wood that make it water and insect resistant. The wood will eventually turn to a nice grayish color and upkeep only involves applying a topical teak oil once a year. Although keeping it untreated is common, you can stain it to a darker color if you prefer.
